What is a 15 minute consultation like?
A 15-minute consultation is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine if we’re a good fit to work together. Since it’s a brief time, here are some questions or topics you might want to consider discussing during the consultation to make the most of our time:

-
Your goals for therapy:
-
Think about what you hope to achieve in therapy. Are you looking for tools to manage stress, heal from past trauma, improve relationships, or explore your faith? Sharing your goals will help me understand how to best support you.
-
-
Any previous therapy experience:
-
If you've been to therapy before, you can share what worked or didn’t work for you. This will help me adjust my approach to better fit your needs.
-
-
Your current struggles or concerns:
-
You can briefly mention the main issues you're facing, whether it’s anxiety, relationship struggles, career stress, or something else. This will give me a sense of where you're at and whether I can offer the support you're looking for.
-
-
Logistical questions:
-
If you’re unsure about insurance, payment options, or how virtual sessions work, feel free to ask about these practical details.
-
-
Concerns about the process:
-
If you have any hesitations about starting therapy or anything you're uncertain about, bring it up so we can discuss it and make sure you're comfortable with the process.
-
-
Anything else that may be helpful for me to know about you!

The consultation is meant to be a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to help us both decide if we’re a good fit. Feel free to come with any questions or thoughts you have, and I’ll do my best to give you a clear idea of how we can work together to meet your goals.
